Rajasthan’s geography & scenery is as diverse as its history & culture. It is a tapestry hewn over 2000 years and is one of India’s iconic destinations. Where to stay
It is well known for the World Heritage Sites of Ajanta & Ellora Caves.Perhaps because of India’s many other attractions, seem to have remained a comparative secret. They were created mainly between the fifth and 10th centuries by Buddhist, Hindu and Jain monks. Oddly, they were carved from top to bottom – the priests hollowed out the ceiling first, and worked down, placing pillars as they went.
