Purported to the most luxurious trains so far to be run on the Heritage Indian trails, the Maharaja Express, caters to the demands of the high-end traveller who wishes to see some of India’s iconic sites, in the shortest possible time. The romanticism of an Indian journey is given full reigns with luxurious cabins, delicious meals, appropriate excursions, great opulence & ambience! TheMaharaja Express train departs either from Delhi or Mumbai, it offers four delightful itineraries. The first (Princely India) lasts 8 days and begins in Mumbai , through Gujarat, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park, Agra and arrives in Delhi. The second (Royal India) lasts 7 days and does this itinerary in reverse. The third (Classical India), covers an itinerary of 7 days, and covers east central regions, of Agra, Gwalior, Khajuraho, Bandhavgarh National Park, Varanasi and Lucknow. The fourth, Celestial India, takes 8 days and does this itinerary in reverse. There are four categories of rooms, in the Maharaja Express, from the standard Deluxe Cabins, to the grand Presidential Suite, which has two bedrooms, a sitting room and even a bathtub. The Maharaja Express train has 2 dining restaurants that seat 42 passengers, and everyone dines together. All meals and drinks onboard are complimentary, meaning that when you are on the train, there are few things you actually need to fork out for. All the sightseeing and excursions are also included in the cost. |
