DAY 01 Abroad – New Delhi. Day of journey – Arrival at International airport. Reception of guests, by representative, at the airport & transfer to Hotel. Hotel recommended at New Delhi is The Shervani.
DAY 02 Delhi – (Jodhpur). After B’fast, leave for full day sightseeing at 10:00am; to include a visit to Qutab Minar, the twin brother of the Gerald Towers (Spain), constructed in 1199, to mark the Eastern spread of Islam. The beauty of this Minar is breath taking; the India Gate, a war memorial to the one million Indian & British soldiers, who died fighting in the great war & strikingly similar to one in Paris; The National Museum; Drive past the North & South blocks & the erstwhile vice regal lodge on the Kingsway (now Rashtriyapati Bhawan on Rajpath); Chandni Chowk in a rickshaw, the business center of old Delhi; Sis Ganj, a Sikh temple, constructed to commemorate the sacrifice of the 9th Sikh apostle, defying Islamic religious bigotry & forcible proselytizing; Jama Masjid; Transfer to Old Delhi railway station to catch the 8:45pm, evening train to Jodhpur. Dinner & overnight in train.
DAY 03 Jodhpur. Arrival in the morning at Jodhpur railway station. Reception & transfer to Hotel Ratan Vilas, early check in to be requested. This evening visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace designed by HV Lanchaster. Avers Tillotson, ‘The finest example of Indo-Deco…the bland monochrome of the stone makes the eye concentrate on their carved shapes’. The views of the Mehrangarh Fort are stunning.

DAY 04 Jodhpur – Rohet (25 miles). After B’fast, checkout & drive to Rohet. On the way, visit the Mehrangarh Fort. The fort was built on the advice of a pious hermit & overlooks the blue city. It houses several palaces, cannons, temples & museum. Visit the cenotaphs of the Jodhpur princes at Mandore, replete with history, Shaivite & Jain architecture, a telling comment on, the gallant Jodhpur cavalry: “But for a handful of Barley, I nearly lost the throne of Hindustan”- Shah Afghan c.1540; & poverty of the princely state of Jodhpur. Proceed thereon to Rohet. Poolside dinner & overnight in Fort Rohetgarh / Superior room, in the heart of an Indian village, very romantic ambience with old world charm.

DAY 05 Rohet. Complete relaxation on the poolside & this evening drive into the villages in a 4wd jeep to take an insight into the tribal culture of Bishnoi clans, renowned for game conservation & witness the opium ceremony, which will hugely amuse you, though originally a matter of grave political import. Dinner & overnight in your hotel.  
DAY 06 Rohet – Ranakpur – Dhamli (47 miles). After B’fast drive to Ranakpur. On arrival visit the ancient Jain Temples. The temples date back to 15th century has 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars, none of which impedes the view of the deity. It abounds with intricate friezes & sculptures. Dinner & overnight in Fort Dhamli, a region yet untouched by modern civilization, where people live by the centuries old traditions. The Thakur (chieftain) will take you to his village populated by the tribal raikas.
(Note: Ranakpur Jain temples do not permit leather goods like belts, wallets or purses to be taken inside. You are also requested to wear clothes that do not expose the body.)
 
DAY 07 Dhamli – Udaipur (112 miles). After B’fast, drive to Udaipur. Dinner & Overnight in Hotel Shikarbari.
DAY 08 Udaipur. Full day sightseeing tour of the city palace museum, one of the best in India, Crystal Gallery, Maharanas vintage car garage which houses some of the rarest Rolls Royse & a boating tour around the white marble Lake Palace Hotel. The ambience, history & locale of your stay, make Udaipur a tourist heaven. Dinner & overnight in your hotel.
DAY 09 Udaipur – Sardargarh (57 miles). After B’fast, drive to Fort Sardargarh, situated on Manohar Sagar Lake, “Whose China & Mirror Halls are still the theme of encomium…defaced by an explosion of powder magazine…which the guns of Holkar aided to diminish. But the castle of Lawah is still one of the finest in Mewar”- General Tod c.1832. Dinner & overnight in Fort Sardargarh / suite, (Heritage, a battle fort, a new rural destination). sardargargh
DAY 10 Sardargarh – Jaipur (207 miles). After B’fast this morning drive to Jaipur. Dinners in Mansingh Hotel, which has a bar & restaurant on the 6th floor overlooking the city, great ambience & overnight in Shahpura House / Suite.
 
DAY 11 Jaipur. Full day sight seeing of the Amber fort, (8:00am), reached by riding a gaily caparisoned elephant; Palace of wind, City Palace museum & the old observatory.
7:30pm. Go to the restaurant in the Rambag Palace Hotel. This Palace Hotel was the residence of Maharaja of Jaipur & Maharani Gayatri Devi, who was declared the most beautiful women in the forties by American magazine – ‘The Vogue”. Awesome ambience. Dress code: smart casuals.

DAY 12 Jaipur – Bharatpur (107 miles). After B’fast drive to Bharatpur. This evening visit the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary, riding a rickshaw. The bird sanctuary is home to a variety of Indian & migratory birds. Dinner & overnight in Laxmi Vilas Palace Hotel / Heritage, just a mile away from bird sanctuary, great ambience.

DAY 13 Bharatpur – Agra (35 miles). After B’fast, Check out & drive to Fatehpur Sikri, a world heritage monument. Drive on to Agra. Visit Fort Agra, a magnificent gigantic structure & seat of the Mughal empire; Tomb of Itmaduddaulah. Dinner & overnight in Hotel Taj View.  
DAY 14 Agra – Kuchesar (132 miles).At 6:00am this morning, visit the Taj Mahal. Come back for B’fast, Check out & drive to Kuchesar. Dinner & overnight in Mudfort Kuchesar / Palace Suite.
DAY 15 Kuchesar – Ramnagar, Dhikuli (115 miles). After B’fast, drive to Ramnagar. Arrival at The Infinity Resorts, situated on the banks of river Kosi with the largest water front. The resort is modeled after the renowned African game resorts. Great ambience. Dinner & overnight at Infinity Resorts.  
DAY 16 Dhikuli – Corbett (107 miles). Check out after lunch to keep your date with the Corbett Tiger Reserve. On arrival at Dhangarhi gate you shall enter the core area of this amazing park, through a meandering forest road & with animals hiding in the roadside lantana & the red jungle fowls turning up the leaves looking for grub. Dinner & overnight in the FRH.
 
DAY 17 Corbett / Dhikala. This morning you shall be given an early tea & thereafter proceed to the jungle on the back of an elephant, or jeep. On return, have your B’fast & you may either rest or sit on the high tower above the river Ramganga watching animals in the river basin, through field glasses. Lunch is partaken of. Evening safari is repeated in a different area of the jungle. You may watch a wildlife film in the open theatre & go off to sleep, listening to the jungle folk, after dinner.
DAY 18 Corbett – Rishikesh (145 miles approx). After an early B’fast, drive to Rishikesh. This evening visit the ‘Parmarth Niketan’ the biggest ashram in Rishikesh. Join the devotees in the singing of hymns this evening on the banks of river Ganges. The chief pontiff takes part in the proceedings of ‘Ganga Aarti’, leaving an impact of intense ‘spiritual reawakening’ with in. Dinner & overnight in Glasshouse of Ganges.
DAY 19 Rishikesh – New Delhi (157 miles). After B’fast, drive to Delhi. Dinner & overnight in Hotel Shervani.
DAY 20 Delhi – IGI airport. Late Checkout to be requested. Transfer to airport after dinners at Hotel Radisson.  
DAY 21 Midnight flight to next destination.
