01 |
Abroad
- New Delhi. Arrival at midnight. Reception of guests at the
airport & transfer to Hotel. Our representative shall help tourists
checking into the Hotel. Hotel considered at New Delhi is The Vasant
Continental***** |

02 |
Delhi. After leisurely B'fast, leave for full day sightseeing;
to include a visit to the India Gate, a war memorial to the one
million Indian & British soldiers, who died fighting in the
great war & strikingly similar to one in Paris; Chandni Chowk,
the business center of old Delhi, Sis Ganj, a Sikh temple, constructed
to commemorate the sacrifice of the 9th Sikh apostle, defying Mughal
religious bigotry. A lunch at Karims, near Jama Masjid, the chefs
of this place are renowned to be the descendents of the Royal Cooks,
in the Mughal India days. Proceed wherefrom, to the Qutab Minar,
the twin brother of the GeraldaTowers (Spain), constructed in 1199,
to mark the Eastern spread of Islam. The beauty of this Minar is
breath taking. Overnight at Hotel. |

03 |
New
Delhi - Agra (210km). After B'fast leave for Agra. On arrival,
visit Fort Agra, a massive red sandstone structure, associated closely
with Mughal & British History, in India. Standing on the river
Yamuna, was seat of government, of the most powerful Empire's the
world has seen. The architectural beauty of this fort is seen to
be believed. Thereon, visit the Taj Mahal, a monument to sacrosanct
love. Dinner & overnight in Hotel Mansingh or Jay Pee Palace****. |

Agra
- Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (248km). Checkout after B'fast, proceed
to Fatehpur Sikri, one of the world heritage cities. It was a dream
object of the Great Mughal, Akbar, who wanted to reconcile, the
apparently irreconcilable, Hinduism to Islam. The quietude of this
place is stunning, as the old guide recites his romantic Urdu couplets!
Wherefrom, proceed to Jaipur. Overnight at Jai Mahal Palace Hotel*****.
1915hrs. (7:15pm): Traditional Rajasthani dinner. A very unique
& authentic Peacock Thaali (vegetarian/non-Veg) awaits you at
Jai Mahal Palace. The Peacock Thaali is an ensemble of Rajasthani
delicacies & delights - starters, main course, lentils &
desserts, served along with refreshingly authentic Rajasthani non-alcoholic
beverage. While you enjoy the setting of this 1747 AD Palace, the
songsters set your soul to a foot tapping delightful evening.

05 |
Jaipur.
(At 900 hrs.) Full day sight seeing of Fort Amber, saddled as you
are on a gaily caparisoned elephant; drive thereon, for a picnic
lunch on the Banks of the Ramgarh Lake, full of migratory ducks
in the winter season, as you soak yourself in warm sunshine. The
Ramgarh Lake lodge was the favourite hunting grounds of the Jaipur
Maharaja. Return 2.30pm to visit the city palace museum & the
old observatory. Overnight at hotel Jai Mahal.

06 |
Jaipur
- Swaimadhopur (180km). Breakfast & depart for Swaimadhopur
at 8.00am. Arrival early afternoon. Check into Taj Swaimadhopur
Lodge. Dinner & overnight at Swaimadhopur lodge, aplace which
was the private hunting lodge of the maharajas of Jaipur & scene
of great pomp & show of the aristocracy & it's guests from
Europe & America. Also if keen, one can visit the Ranthambore
National park in a jeep, immediately after lunch. Ranthambore reserve
is spread around two very large lakes. The wild animals routinely
seen are the Sambhar stags, with very large horns; boars, spotted
deer, tigers & leopards. |

Swaimadhopur. Forenoon free for leisure & sun-bathing.
After lunch proceed to Ranthambore tiger reserve for wild life viewing. |

Swaimadhopur
- Pushkar (255 km). B'fast, partaken of, proceed to Pushkar,
at 900hrs. Pushkar is well known world over for it's serene lake
& Jain Temples. The Sri Rangji temples, dating back to 1844
AD, is the only temple in India, where three distinct architectural
styles coalesce - the Rajasthani style of chatris & cenotaphs,
the North Indian spire construction & the South Indian Gopuram
style. Dinner & overnight at Hotel Pushkar Palace, a heritage
property. |

Pushkar
- Udaipur (235km). Breakfast at 8.00am, Proceed thereon to Ranakpur,
for a tour of world famous marble cut Jain temples. The temples
date back to 15th century, has 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars,
none of which are similar. It abounds with intricate friezes &
sculptures. Arrival in Udaipur, late evening. Check into Hotel Shikarbari.
The hotels is the erstwhile hunting lodge of the Maharanas of Mewar,
has a stud farm & an airstrip. You may still feed the animals,
if you please! |

10 |
Udaipur. B'fast & depart for an exciting tour of Udaipur,
the most romantic city of Rajasthan, aptly called "Venice of
the East". Is situated at the intersection of three lakes,
nestled in the lap of Arravallis mountains. Full day sightseeing
tour of the city palace museum, one of the best in India, Crystal
Gallery, Bhartya Kala Mandir & a boating tour around the white
marble Lake Palace Hotel. The ambience, history & locale of
your stay, make Udaipur a touristic heaven. Dinner & overnight
at Shikarbari. |

Udaipur
- Rohet (210km ). Leisurely B'fast & check out, proceed
to Rohetgarh. Dinner (pool-side) & overnight at Fort Rohetgarh,
in the heart of an Indian village, very romantic ambience with old
world charm. |

Rohet
- Jaisalmer (280km) After B'fast at 8.00, leave for Mehrangarh
fort at 9.00, rising up on a hillock. The fort was built on the
advice of a pious hermit & overlooks the blue city. It houses
several palaces, cannons, temples & museum. Visit Jaswant Thada,
a richly carved white marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh,
the brave Rajput king of Jodhpur. Proceed further on to Jaisalmer.
Arrival late evening at Gorbandh Palace Hotel for dinner & overnight. |

Jaisalmer.
Full day sight seeing of the patrician houses. Post lunch; proceed
to village Khuri for the camel safari to the sunset point. Dinner
& overnight in hotel. |

- Bikaner (240 Km). After B'fast leave for Bikaner. Dinner &
overnight at Gajner Palace. Gajner is situated on the banks of lake
& old hunting lodge of the Maharajah. Dinner & overnight

- Khimsar (155km). Drive to Fort Khimsar after seeing the Junagarh
fort & Camel Breeding Farm at Bikaner. Dinner inside ruins of
15th century palace, very romantic evening with the prince/princess
of Khimsar & overnight at Fort Khimsar. |

Khimsar
- Samode (290 Km). Checkout after B'fast & leave for Samode.
Dinner & overnight at Samode Palace / Samode Baug. Samode is
a wonderful property & is written about & recommended in
all travel books |

Samode-
Delhi (200 Km). Checkout at 12 noon for Delhi. Dinner at Radisson
hotel & transfer to Intl. Airport.
