Mumbai – Full day sight seen after breakfast to include
visit to Victoria terminus, Gateway of India, The Hotel Taj Mahal,
The Afgan Church (In memory of the Anglo-Afghan war of 1819). Visit
Marine Drive on the Queens ‘necklace’. |

Mumbai
– Goa. Forenoon at leisure. Post-lunch, Proceed to domestic
airport for flight to Goa. Arrival at Goa in early evening. Transfer

Ernakulam.
Arrival early morning & transfer to hotel. Half-day sightseeing

Ernakulam – Munnar. 140km/4 hrs. After B’fast,
proceed to Munnar, a most attractive road journeys in whole of S.India.
A hill station (1652 mtrs.), the scenery is stunning, with many
flourishing tea estates & backdrop of thick Annamalai forests.
Visit the tea Gardens, Echo point & Mattu Patti Dam (Speed Boating).
The Dam is Flanked with Forests and grasslands on one side &
Kundla Tea plantations on the other side. Dinner & overnight
at hotel West Wood / Tall Trees. |

10 |
Munnar. After a leisurely B’fast go to the Eravecullam
National Park to see the Nilgiri Tahr, on verge of extinction.Then
to Marayour to visit the Muniyaras Caves which date back to the
new stone age. On the way back visit the sandal wood forest &
Lakkam Water Falls. Dinner & overnight at hotel. |

Munnar
– Thekkady. (100km). Drive to Thekkady. Located in the shades
of Cardamom Hills, it is a beautiful area of winding jungle roads.
Dinner & overnight in Tree Tops inside the Periyar Wildlife
sanctuary.

Thekkady.
After B’fast leave for a tour of spice gardens & post-lunch,
catch the boat for viewing wildlife around the Periyar Lake. Dinner
and overnight in hotel. |

Thekkady
– Kumarakom. (140km). Start very early at about 7.30am
for Kumarakom, arriving there in about 4 hrs. Catch the houseboat
for backwater cruise enjoying a lifestyle, which is primitive but
most thrilling. The boat carries you in the various rivers forming
the backwaters. Dinner & overnight in houseboat. |

Allepey
– Quilon - Varkala. (140km). Get into a car or coach &
proceed to Varkala, after relaxing & luncheon at the Quilon
beach. Reach Varkala by early evening. Check into Taj Garden Retreat*****.
